A Wodonga man was caught in the middle of an alleged drug deal in front of a police car on Dick Road in Lavington on Thursday.

Inspector Scott Russell said an Albury police car was on patrol at about 2.45am when they spotted two men acting suspiciously.
Police searched a 20-year-old man and allegedly found a small amount of cash and 20 grams of cannabis.
He was charged with supply of prohibited drug and possessing prohibited drug and will appear in Albury Local Court on January 19.
