Magistrate Tony Murray said to Crome last month that he could take steps to have an application put before the court to revoke the order.

This time Crome’s visit took a nasty, violent turn.

Crome appeared in the court dock again this week, dressed in a black singlet, after attacking the woman.

Defence solicitor Tim Hemsley said Crome, 42, pleaded guilty to the latest charges of common assault related to domestic violence, common assault, destroy or damage property and contravene an apprehended violence order.

“It was a matter where they were both consuming alcoholic beverages and the matters have progressed further,” he said.

Mr Hemsley said Crome’s latest actions meant he had breached two recent bonds.

Crome still faces sentence this month on other matters for which a pre-sentence report has been ordered, though Mr Hemsley said Crome had pleaded not guilty to one of the charges.

In the latest incident, Crome visited the victim’s Burrumbuttock property on January 2 at 8pm despite this being banned under an apprehended violence order imposed on August 30.

Police said the pair began drinking, Crome downing Wild Turkey Bourbon straight from the bottle.

Crome began to act aggressively towards the victim and punched her several times to the head, then went “on a frenzy” damaging her living room furniture.

He did not apply for bail and will be sentenced on January 20.
