Teacher Angela Jones said the annual event was always entertaining, and that the dan-cers put their all into their performances.
“This is what they dance for all year,” she said.
“They’re doing it for fun mainly, but they work hard throughout the year so they can show everyone what they’ve learned.”
Miss Jones said the dancers, aged three to 40, would take on group routines in a variety of dance styles, including hip hop, funk, tap, jazz, modern expressive and theatrical.
She said all the dancers were entertaining but said the advanced group’s success in hip hop at the Crown International Championships in Melbourne made those girls a top act.
“They’re pretty talented, they’re something worth seeing,” she said.
Doors open at 2pm while the main event kicks off at 3pm.
Adult tickets cost $15 and under-16s pay $10.
