A MAN in his late 60s has been forced off the road and left in shock as another motorist jumped onto his bonnet, smashing the windscreen with his fist.
Police say the victim was travelling south on the Hume Freeway, between High Street and Melrose Drive, at 5.10pm yesterday.
A man in a Toyota Corolla forced the victim to stop before mounting the bonnet of the Toyota Kluger and in three punches, smashed the windscreen.
Leading Sen-Constable Surrey Hunter said the man was shaken but unharmed.
