Making his playing comeback following a serious leg injury last year, Skinner suffered a minor groin strain as Southcity whipped Brothers 26-6 at Harris Park last weekend.
Forced off early in the second half, Skinner spent the rest of the game on bench and was limping noticeably later.
However, Skinner consulted a physiotherapist on Monday and believes the fresh problem is not enough to keep him on the sidelines.
“Yeah, went to the physio this morning (Monday), issues with my groin from over-compensating for my knee,” Skinner reported on Monday.
“Will work on it over the week and should be fine by Sunday.”
Temora captain-coach Daniel Fitzhenry is anxiously waiting for the results of a scan on his injured knee to settle his immediate playing future.
