A tense final quarter saw BA outscore the home side 18-10, but they left their run too late after entering the half trailing by 15.
Haylee Lepaio again led from the front with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and found solid support in Molly Rice (16 points).
While the Lady Bandits couldn't hold on to their good form on the road, falling 83-64 to Geelong on Saturday, coach Jim Wilson was happy to be on the right side of the scoreboard against BA.
“It was a good win, we led pretty much all the way through the game,” he said.
“Finishing with five players hitting double figures in both games is really pleasing.
“BA are very strong, it was good to get that win.
“Realistically Geelong are probably a little bit tall for us, but I’m really proud that the girls were able to hang tough against players with plenty of WNBL and international experience.”
