The drawn result was the first between the two sides in 65 years.
The Magpies need a win to remain in the finals race, but Pigeons co-coach Chris Kennedy is determined not to let the four points slip this time around.
A largely unchanged side will take on the Magpies, who have regained Michael Newton and Matt Kelly for the crucial clash.
“I think they've got their strongest side on paper, so we're mentally prepared for a tough game of footy,” Kennedy said.
“We're probably as young a side as any this season, and our young players need to be able to put four quarters together.
“We got three against the Raiders two weeks ago and fell just short.
“Those younger fellas just need to find that little bit extra.”
Brandon Symes will continue to build towards a senior return through the reserves, while Brad O’Connor is still overseas and will return for the clash against Wodonga in round 13.
“We won't rush Brandon back into the side, he's only played the two games,” Kennedy said.
“He trusts what we're doing with him, we want him to be right for the end of the season.”
The co-coach was unfazed by the inclusions of Newton and Kelly, backing his backline to get the job done.
“Our backline has been our strength this season, we've matched up well on most sides,” he said.
“We just have to make sure they're using the ball well.
“When we do that we're a dangerous side, we've been playing a good style of footy.
“We just have to improve on that aspect of our game.”
