AN intoxicated man ate his fries at Hungry Jack’s Albury before passing-out for an hour in the disabled toilet. The tired punter attracted the attention of the Albury Border Rescue Squad about 3.30pm, after staff tried to wake him for about six minutes.

He was heavily intoxicated when he initially sought some food at the restaurant, before falling asleep at the table for 45 minutes.
The man was asked to leave and re-located to the toilet for a nap. He awoke before crews arrived and checked his welfare.
Squad deputy captain Paul Marshall said he spoke to the man, to make sure he was OK, who then moved on to eat at another restaurant.
“That's not unusual, we've had calls for people stuck in various places,” Mr Marshall said.
“We usually dislodge the hinges.
“He was very intoxicated and staff were concerned for his welfare.
“We have our fair share of terrible call outs – so one we can have a chuckle at with an easy result where we don’t get our hands dirty – we happy to attend those.
“Yes its embarrassing and interesting job, but if people do think there is a need for an emergency service, don’t hesitate to call for help.”
