NINETEEN riders are taking in Victoria’s rail trails as part of a new Outbikes series. Riders from NSW, Tasmania and Victoria will cover 500 kilometres and 10 rail trails over 12 days before finishing at Stawell on Friday. Tim Fischer launched the series at Beechworth station on Sunday. Overnight stays were at Rutherglen, Bright, Alexandra, Heathcote, Ballarat, Queenscliff, Port Campbell, Port Fairy and Halls Gap. The next 12-day event starts in Albury on October 31.
