The 2016 Albury-Wodonga Doll, Bear and Hobby Show will be held on November 26 and 27 at Lavington’s Mirambeena Community Centre. The show began when doll-making as a hobby was second in popularity only to stamp collecting, but now included other crafts like embroidery and patchwork.
Treasurer Chris Jones said this mix had kept people interested.
“They’ve still got a platform by which to exhibit, be with like-minded people, have a bit of fun and the diversity’s showing people that we’re not just dolls and bears,” she said.
This year’s proceeds will support Carevan. See the show’s website and Facebook page for more details.
