ACTOR Mel Gibson’s former Gundowring property Springbank has sold for more than $5 million.
A Melbourne couple from Brighton have bought the 328-hectare farm which was sold by Gibson for $1.825 million in 2004.
Vendors David and Christine Trevethan demolished Gibson’s house and built a four-bedroom luxury homestead with a heated outdoor pool, conservatory, library, study and three bathrooms.
It was listed for six weeks by Colliers International after being on and off the market since 2012.
