Fraser closed with a final round 68 on Saturday to finish five shots behind Queensland’s Damien Jordan (272).
Aron Price (274) came runner-up.
The Border golfer had rounds of 70, 69, 70 and 68 in a strong first-up performance after a long break.
“It was good to have a hit-out after two months off,” Fraser said.
“You always like to play better but I thought I was steady.
“It was pleasing to finish that way.”
Fraser will now play tournaments in Malaysia and Perth.
Meanwhile, Peter Senior has wasted no time winning his maiden Legends Tour event by taking out the Victorian Senior Open at Yarrawonga.
Yarrawonga’s Frazer Droop has won the Rich River Trainee Classic.
