You won’t catch lots of big trout but you will catch a few and they’re great eating fish.
Situated just past Falls Creek it’s a very pretty place but just a little tip, take a jacket and jumper with you, doesn’t matter what the forecast says.
Use similar techniques to most other trout lakes, although flatlining will work a little better here at this time of year due to its elevation.
Try all your favourite lures and don’t be afraid to use a Cowbell or Fender in conjunction, particularly later in the day.
Cod are still chewing in most rivers, streams and lakes around the place with surface lures again doing really well in the past week.
Blowering fished well again last week and would be well worth a visit if weather conditions allow it.
Anyhow, get out there amongst it.
