The cousins joined a sea of overawed youngsters at one of two The Wiggles’ concerts yesterday — the group’s first trip to Albury in eight years.
Albury girls Flo, 4, and Lucy, 3, came ready to rock, with a miniature Dorothy toy and plastic flowers for the rose-eating dinosaur.
Lucy’s mum, Natasha Bender, said the occasion had been the tots’ hot topic of conversation for the past week.
“They’re very excited,” she said.
“It’s their third concert. We normally go to Melbourne every December.
“The Wiggles are really child-friendly. They come out into the crowd and Dorothy takes the roses from the kids.
“And the girls love all the colours and different characters.”
Ms Bender said Flo and Lucy were likely to leave with another piece of Dorothy memorabilia to add to their collection.
“Whenever they come, they get something Dorothy,” she said.
The dinosaur’s co-stars, Sam Moran, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Anthony Field, parked their Big Red Car outside before taking to the Albury Entertainment Centre for the Go Bananas! show.
Henry The Octopus and Wags The Dog also came along for the ride.
