Competition is expected to be fierce with both the open men’s and women’s tournaments part of Tennis Victoria’s Australian Money Tournament Series.
Winners of the open events will collect $550 in prizemoney, with a further $300 up for grabs in the leading doubles events.
A massive schedule of 46 events will make up the three-day tournament, running from Saturday to Monday and attracting players from across the region and interstate.
Ranking points can also be won in under 12s, under 14s and under 16s boys and girls events.
The hundreds of matches across all grades are to be played on the complex’s 30 grass courts.
Steve Longworth is the tournament director, while the tournament referee is Ken Johnson.
