ALBURY Gold Cup patrons dined on porterhouse steak and Willowbank potatoes washed down with regional wines.
The official caterer for the Albury Gold Cup, Fiona Landy, said 260 people in the official Albury Gold Cup Committee marquee enjoyed a three-course meal on Friday.
“We offered sweet potato, pumpkin, red kidney beans with our own smoked chicken and chipotle mayo; followed by porterhouse with a red wine jus, Willowbank potatoes and a salad of greens and hazelnuts with an orange vinaigrette,” Ms Landy said.
Ms Landy’s team of 30 staff also catered for three corporate marquees, the public kiosk and barbecue marquee.
“The track is looking fantastic,” she said.
