Stanley farm to plate curators Lou Friend and Jade Miles will collaborate on Smokin’ Hot Stanley on May 7, which was part of the High Country Harvest festival.
Garden State founder Ms Friend said she would prepare the seasonally-inspired dishes on Ms Miles’ Black Barn Farm at Stanley.
Ms Friend said the abundant feast would end with a bonfire-side Wassail, a hearty middle English toast to the incoming season.
The offerings feature and celebrate locally-raised, grown and sourced produce including fresh vegetables from RAD Growers (Bungowannah), Indigo Lamb (Everton), Melinda's Chicken (Mullengandra), wine from Pennyweight (Beechworth) and Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown (Stanley) and beer from Beechworth’s Bridge Road Brewers.
Smokin’ Hot Stanley runs from 11.30am until 4.30pm.
