The South and West Regional Conference and Orchid Show will be held at Lavington from September 30 to October 1.
Clubs from Albury-Wodonga, Wagga, Canberra and the South Coast host the show every two years.
Albury-Wodonga and District Orchid Club spokeswoman Jill Wooding said the show was last here in 2005.
“The hosting rotates around the clubs, hence we only have one here each 12 years or so,” she said.
“Each club will put on a themed display, this year the theme is Orchids on the Murray.”
There will be potting demonstrations along with tips from local growers and commercial vendors.
Other highlights will be art, craft, floral art and photography sections.
The orchid show will be held at Mirambeena Centre, 19 Martha Mews, from 9am both days.
Entry to the show is $5 and under-15s are free.
Homemade morning and afternoon tea and refreshments will be available.
Participating clubs are Batemans Bay Orchid and Foliage Society, Orchid Society of Canberra, Eurobodalla Orchid Club, Sapphire Coast Orchid Club, Shoalhaven Orchid Society and Wagga Orchid Society.
