Barnawartha Fire Brigade’s Phil Colvin said rear trailer wheels on the driver’s side caught fire, and despite scorching the “green” logs, the fire did not spread to the load.
The cause of the fire was still unknown but it could have been caused by overheating brakes or bearings.
Wodonga, West Wodonga and Chiltern firefighters also attended the blaze.
