Droop won the PGA National Futures Championship at the Ballarat Golf Club on Friday.
He finished on five-under 283, to win by five shots from New South Welshman Robbie Hogan.
Droop finished with a one-over 73 on the final day.
He started the round with a three-shot lead, but dropped one on the first hole.
However, he held his nerve to claim the $60,000 event.
Droop’s win guarantees a start in next year’s Australian PGA Championship.
It’s been a strong year for Droop after he originally qualified for the National Futures after snaring the Rich River Trainee Classic in February.
It was his first national tournament as a Trainee Professional and he showed no signs of late nerves, firing successive birdies on the final two holes.
Droop also equalled the course record at last month’s NT PGA Championship.
