A LUXURY Corowa hotel is among the best in the country.
CIRCA 1936 claimed the bronze award in the NSW Tourism Awards at Darling Harbour’s International Convention Centre recently.
In its first year of operation CIRCA surprised all by being a finalist in the Luxury Accommodation category, and surprised more on the night when it took out the bronze award.
The luxury accommodation category in Australia’s number one tourism state is the highest benchmark by which hotels are measured.
The Murray region won awards for the state’s best caravan park (Big4 Deniliquin Holiday Park) and best standard accommodation (Moama on Murray Resort).
CIRCA 1936 co-owner Ririn Yaxley, who attended the awards, was delighted with bronze.
“Circa 1936 aims to deliver 19th century service, 20th century style, 21st century facilities,” she said.
Offering accommodation, spa treatments and a restaurant, CIRCA 1936 has been acknowledged for setting a new benchmark for hospitality in regional Australia.
