Fresh from captaining Australia to victory in the Women's Ashes against England, the 30-year-old has started the WBBL season in fine style.
Her 54 off 33 balls saw her win player-of-the-match honours on Tuesday.
“I’m going well,'” Haynes said.
“I just want to roll on with the momentum.
“Cricket can be an unrelenting game at times so when I’ve got the opportunity and feeling good I want to make the most of it.
“Today was good.”
Haynes and Rachel Priest took the score to 86 before Priest departed in the 11th over with Stars then confronted by more batting firepower in Alex Blackwell and Stafanie Taylor.
Haynes was a surprise choice as captain of the Australian side to play England after star batter Meg Lanning was ruled out of the series with a serious shoulder injury.
