Parnaby knocked out defending champion Linda Huang six-love, six-four.
“I basically couldn’t do anything wrong in the first set, it’s probably one thing I’ve been focusing on is starting well,” she said.
“She’s very tall and got a big serve, which started working for her.
“At four-all, I came up with some solid points, I wasn’t trying to do anything too spectacular and it worked out.”
Parnaby, who won the last of her titles in 2016, will play Sydney’s Anne-Marie Medcalf for the first time.
Medcalf toppled NSW Central Coast player Chloe Costelloe, six-love, six-three.
“She’s an aggressive baseliner, she’s going to come out and hit big and then she can be quite crafty as well,” Parnaby said.
The final will be a battle of similar styles as the 23-year old also boasts a powerful serve and aggressive baseline game, but with a lethal net game as well.
