Tigers struggled to get any momentum going as Sharks stormed to a 14-0 victory.
Leah Dodd led all scorers with five goals, while Sally Lefoe, Georgia Polkinghorne, Brooke Dickie and goalkeeper Elyse Boyer also impressed.
Tegan Roberts worked hard at centre forward for Tigers.
Sharks’ team manager Tracey McLeod said it was a good all-round effort from her side.
Pool Pirates were far too strong for Northside in the other women’s fixture, breezing to a 13-1 triumph thanks to a strong start.
In the men’s matches, Sharks held off Tigers by the barest of margins, claiming a hard-fought 8-7 salute.
Shannon Gould and Taylor Miller led the way for the victors.
“It was a really great game actually,” Sharks’ Leah Dodd said.
“The Sharks team got off to a great start and were three or four goals up, but Albury really fought back.
“In the last five minutes, it was either team’s game to win and Sharks managed to get another goal.
“Shannon Gould scored one and it gave them a little bit of breathing space.”
Pool Pirates were made to work hard against a much-improved Northside outfit, but got the job done with a 7-3 victory.
Sharks sit three wins clear in the men’s competition.
