Lavington hammered Albury, Belvoir smashed Wodonga Raiders, while Tallangatta scored a last-ball outright against St Patrick’s.
Tallangatta led by 28 runs after the first innings, with the Patties then declaring on 5-155 after 30 overs.
It left the Bushies needing 128 runs from 12 overs.
“Very courageous decision by (Patties’ captain) Matty Crawshaw to try and get maximum points, so he should be applauded for not letting the game peter out into something that would have been pretty boring,” Bushies’ coach Matt Armstrong said.
Nathan Thompson (55 not out) hit a boundary off the last ball from Kori Stevenson to cap an amazing day’s play.
Lavington resumed on 7-151 after ripping through Albury for 66.
The Panthers finished on 190 and then ripped through the home side for a paltry 77.
And Belvoir destroyed Raiders for 60 and 95 respectively, with Cameron McCormack snaring 5-20 in the first innings.
