Member for Albury Greg Aplin said construction of the Murray Street facility was expected to begin later in February.
“The NSW Government’s $3.7 million investment in the CLC will ensure TAFE NSW not only continues to have a presence in Corowa but will significantly enhance local education offerings and capability for the community,” Mr Aplin said.
In December 2016, TAFE NSW announced plans for 12 digitally enhanced CLCs.

“The new CLC will open a whole new variety of opportunities for local students, combining the very best of modern technology and the traditional face to face teaching TAFE NSW is famous for,” Mr Aplin said.
“Once the CLC is completed many local students will no longer need to travel to larger centres such as Albury or Wagga to study the right course.”
