Emergency services were called to the property at Kergunyah after the incident about 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The truck apparently pulled down power lines, resulting in a fire which left parts of its trailer blackened.
The man driving the truck died at the scene.
His identity was still being confirmed on Tuesday night.
Power workers were called on to isolate the electricity flow to the line touched by the truck.
Police remained at the scene after sunset with an SES crew providing flood-lighting.
Because the fatality occurred on private property it will be investigated by WorkSafe with a brief also to be prepared for the coroner by police.
