The one-kilometre format started last week and will run for seven rounds, with a draw for $1000 cash conducted at the end of the event.
Racing is held each Wednesday from 5.30pm at the Driver Education Centre of Australia (DECA) at the Logic Centre, Barnawartha.
Club spokesperson Jodie Nicholls said it’s not too late for riders to enter.
“Competitors must race six out of the seven races to go into the draw to win $1000 prize money,” Nicholls said.
“If you pull out of a race halfway because you can’t go any further, that’s okay, as long as you start and have a good go, you go into the draw to win $1000.
“People are still eligible to race as long as they start from Wednesday (tonight) and don’t miss a week for the next six weeks.”
Competitors must be over 15 years of age to enter.
Nicholls thanked major partner Lester and Son, along with Lake Mulwala Bakery, Piccolo Pod, Moff-IT, Monumental Ice Creamery, The Full Cycle, and Washington Cycles for their support.
