“You can’t help rain,” festival director Chris Smith said.
“But the venues are full, people are having a great time, so it’s all good.”
In its 21st year, the festival offered live music throughout its six daytime and three evening venues, with musicians and patrons travelling from across Australia as well as Ireland, Canada, Serbia and the UK to attend.
About 2200 people bought tickets for the weekend and this year had seen a lot of younger people joining in the activities.
“I mean, everybody loves the Yack festival, it’s laid back and family friendly,” Mr Smith said.
