Your Everyday Gourmet won four gold medals in the 2018 Victorian Sausage King and Best Burgers Butcher Competition in the North East Victorian region earlier this month.
Its fang banger; chicken and sweet chilli sausages; traditional pork and pepper sausages; and beef burger dominated the eight-category contest.
The fang banger uses Fang’s Chilli Sauce among other ingredients.
Your Everyday Gourmet owner Dan Wallace said they used only fresh local free-range produce in their award-winning range of sausages and burgers.
“We use quality fresh local ingredients and free-range beef, pork and poultry,” he said.
Mr Wallace said they won gold medals in the categories of Traditional Australian Pork; Poultry; Gourmet Open; and Best Butcher Beef Burger.
“We won two gold medals last year,” he said.
“To win four out of eight fields is pretty damn crazy!”
