Yes, some Adult Fans of Lego joined the North East town’s annual Golden Horseshoes Festival for the first time through the Beechworth Brick Expo 2018.
Organised by Bricks on the Border, the exhibition at the senior citizens hall featured a mix of Lego sets and original creations, including scenes based on Star Wars, trains and recognisable Albury buildings.
Bricks on the Border events co-ordinator Matt Fankhauser said the group included members from Albury-Wodonga, Beechworth, Wagga and Shepparton.
“Everyone volunteers their time and effort to get the Lego here and put it on display just purely to see all the kids being happy,” he said.
“They usually pick out all the little hidden details that adults tend to miss.”
