Barbara Baker’s last incident involved her jumping out of a car her daughter had been driving, which broke her arm, gave her a black eye, and caused cuts.
She was forced to take three months off work due to her injuries.
Police made enquiries which showed she had been driving to her daughter's home shortly before the incident with a reading of 0.180.
She lost her licence as a result.
The Birallee Coles worker recently told the Wodonga Magistrates Court she won’t drink again and had given up her long-running marijuana habit.
“I won’t be coming back after this,” she told magistrate David Faram.
“That’s what you said last time,” he replied.
Her bid to have her licence returned during the last court application was knocked back due to concerns about her drug use.
She told Mr Faram she had finally stopped using, having smoked regularly with her partner, but also admitted she had quit on previous occasions.
Mr Faram granted her licence application and ordered she have an alcohol interlock fitted to her vehicle for a year.
She will have an alcohol-free condition on her licence for three years.
“Look after your licence Ms Baker,” the magistrate said.
He said her driving was a “disaster waiting to happen for you and anyone else on the road”.
Baker has two prior drink-driving convictions in 1990, and a third offence in 1998.
