Thirteen Albury-Wodonga identities have been practising hard, not without injuries, and also raising at least $3000 each for Cancer Council NSW.
In the past three months, The Border Mail has asked all the Stars about why they agreed to such a challenging, and public, project.

Steven Keene: “I got dobbed in by some fantastic colleagues, but it’s a fantastic cause so when the opportunity came I didn’t hesitate.”
Meg Salisbury: “It was a good way to pep us all up and keep fighting the fight.”
Sarah Rogers: “It doesn’t matter what you’re coming for, you’re going to walk away with something.”
Danny Lowe: “When I was asked to do this I thought, well, it’s just another way I can show support for Mum.”
Felicity Cahill: “I guess it was my way of giving back directly to them.”
Ryan Speed: “If you were in a tough situation you’d like to think that other people would help you out.”
Steven Fouracre: “It’s something that we think’s important, that we think of the issues that are bigger than ourselves.”
James Wiltshire: “They’d had their 45th wedding anniversary and they were celebrating at the cancer centre – she passed away in the next couple of days.”
Ashlea Kunowski: “Cancer has touched several members of my family … I’ve always wanted to learn how to dance.”
Deb Woodall: “For me, it’s my grandmother who missed seeing her grandchildren grow up, it’s our family friends who left us too young, and it’s my close friends who have lost a parent or a loved one.”
Bronwyn Tyrell: “Cancer’s just too prevalent in society, I’ve just seen too many people and families impacted.”
Mark Blackman: “My mum passed away of cancer when I was 15, so it’s always something that’s been close to me.”
Seamus Evans: “It’s just really rewarding being a part of something, working together to achieve a good result.”
