Bice and Brayden O’Hara (six goals) featured for the Tigers in the 23.17 (155) to 5.4 (34) demolition.
“Yeah, it was good,” the quietly-spoken 17-year-old said.
“I think two were from set shots, one was on the run, running into the 50 (metre arc), and the other was on the goal-line.”
Bice is one of a handful of younger Tigers to play their first game in the opening five rounds.
O’Hara, meantime, has maintained his stellar start, holding the goalkicking (23) lead by one from Wangaratta’s Michael Newton.
And if O’Hara’s form isn’t a big enough concern for opposition clubs, the return to top fitness by defender Dean Polo will.
Polo battled a back injury last year.
Saints’ star Christian Burgess played his first game, but Matt Dussin was the best.
