Now in his 90s, the former premiership player is set to join a host of fellow premiership players from near and far as the club celebrates 12 premierships on Saturday.
Reunions for the 1947, 1949, 1952, 1967, 1968, 1978 and 1989 senior teams have been organised, as well as celebrations for several reserve grade, third grade and under-14 teams.
The club is also expecting former netballers to return to celebrate their premiership successes, of which Graetz’s wife Alice was a part.
An old netball premiership cup still takes pride of place in their home.
Graetz boasts a storied history in district sport, having played for both Walla and Walbundrie on the footy field, and once represented Rand in rugby as well.
