JINDERA bolted into premiership contention with a thrilling 41-40 win over previously unbeaten Billabong Crows at Jindera on Saturday.
Despite coach Courtney Katalinic being overseas, the Bulldogs stormed home from a 10-goal deficit at half-time to take the honours.
Sharna Holland, Jess Guy, Laura Anthony and Emma Weldon played well for the home team.
“It was pretty much goal-for-goal at the end,” Guy said.
“It was a really tough game.”
Beck O’Connell played well for the Crows who were missing three of their players.
Brock-Burrum proved too strong for Holbrook, winning 33-16.
While the Saints are without several keys from last year’s premiership side, they have remained more than competitive.
Culcairn stayed in touch with the top six by defeating CDHBU 56-27.
Murray Magpies accounted for Henty 59-30, Osborne outgunned rivals Lockhart 37-28 and RWW defeated Howlong 38-28.
