Beechworth and Rutherglen’s clash, originally scheduled on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, will be played on July 7. OAK FM will be broadcasting the game live from Beechworth.

Wodonga Saints and Dederang-Mount Beauty have a bye this coming weekend and will play the following week when the majority of the league’s clubs have the week off. Their clash on July 7 will be dedicated to the Black Dog Institute, focusing on mental health and depression awareness.

Another four goals from Kiewa-Sandy Creek co-captain Guy Telford took his total to 61 for the season. The spearhead extended his margin at the top of the league’s goal-kicking list to 16. Wahgunyah’s Corey Smith is second on 45.

Clayton Bosman departed Yackandandah for Border Walwa in the Upper Murray league. Bosman has played the past two weeks for the Magpies and featured among their best players. Meanwhile, Chiltern has secured the services of Caleb Boxall for the remainder of the season. Boxall was cleared from Wodonga Raiders and has featured the past fortnight. Boxall played all 18 games for the Swans during the 2016 Tallangatta league season.
