Captain Kristen Andrews returned to play a starring role in a superb team performance.
“The seven girls came together with the planets and the stars all aligned,” coach Zanelle Gerecke said.
“It was the most consistent, four-quarter team effort that I’ve had privilege to coach.

“Kiewa were terrific as well.”
Thurgoona is third on the ladder, behind Tallangatta and Kiewa-Sandy Creek.
Chiltern were too good for Beechworth, Mitta United defeated Yackandandah, Tallangatta proved too strong Barnawartha and Rutherglen accounted for Wahgunyah.
