ALBURY driver David Reynolds was left frustrated after finishing sixth and seventh at the Watpac 400 in Townsville.
After continuing his outstanding qualifying form by finishing fourth on the grid on Saturday and Sunday, Reynolds was unable to capitalise.
“We talk so much about how important qualifying is because it sets you up for a good result in the race,” Reynold said.
“I’m disappointed with 6th and 7th because we qualified 4th so we went backwards.
“If I had started 10th and got those finishes you’d feel OK because you went forward.
“We’re still third in the championship.”
