Parker secured a game after being selected in a 48-member All-Australian squad following the national under-18 championships on the Gold Coast last week.
A 22-player All -Australian team will be named after the match in Adelaide.
“It’s going to be pretty exciting playing in Adelaide for the first time,” the 17-year-old said.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
Parker was named the Eastern Allies most valuable player during the national championships with the classy left-footer turning in her best performance against Central Allies on day one.
The side won one of its three matches.
Despite being confronted by opposition taggers, Parker impressed selectors with her trademark one-arm fend being pivotal at stoppages.
“It was a good week,” Parker said.
“We had some tough matches.”
Parker is no stranger to All Australian squads after making the under-16 and 18 squads for the previous four seasons.
She is keen to finish the season strongly ahead of the AFLW draft.
“At the moment I’m focusing on the game in Adelaide on August 31,” she said.
“The draft will be tricky but I’m excited for it.”
As well as doing Year 12 at Billabong High School, Parker has also been playing football for Thurgoona Bulldogs in the AFL NEB Female Football League.
She is also an accomplished netballer.
