The 28-year-old is lapping up the club's three-game AFL winning streak and hopes after a 2009 debut there might finally be sunny skies ahead.
Rich is one of the few still at the Lions who played in the club's last three-match winning run eight years ago and isn't surprised it's happening again.
"I feel like it's been coming for a while, behind close doors, but it's all coming to fruition on the field where the outside world gets to see," he told AAP.
"We always had that belief; it was a matter of performing for longer and we've done that in the last few weeks."
Brisbane ran away from Hawthorn at their Launceston stronghold on Saturday to follow victories at home against Carlton and away to Fremantle.
After years of the same losing narrative there is a refreshing buzz ahead of Saturday night's Gabba clash with Adelaide that isn't missed on Rich.
"We live and breathe it every day, so it's hard not to take it home sometimes," he said.
"I've always had that belief that it's going to turn and it's going to make the sweeter times sweeter if I can look back and know they were all worthwhile."
Rich is signed for three years beyond 2018 and admits he "wants to be part of the good times ahead".
But the challenge now, he says, is not to get ahead of themselves.
"That's the world we live in, it's so ruthless, Rich warned.
"There's a natural buzz (when you're winning) and we want that, but you can be knocked back down as quickly as you get picked up."
