Olivia Barber dropped 18 points in an impressive all round display as the Lady Bandits pushed the Cobras for the full four quarters.
Between Barber, Emilee Harmon (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Kristi Mokube (16/8) the Lady Bandits offence was flowing.
But the Cobras were up to the task, outclassing the Lady Bandits on their end to ride out a 96-73 win.
Harmon was the engine room of the offence but Barber stole the show, picking up four steals to ignite several fast breaks for the Lady Bandits.
Megan Quinn (six points), Molly Rice (five) and Casey Ardern (four) all battled hard against tough opposition.
Former Australian Opal and WNBA/WNBL MVP Lauren Jackson will take over as head coach in 2019.
