The Bulldogs demolished another finalist in Cudgewa by 97 points at Cudgewa on Saturday with the reserves winning by 93.
“There are a few good players in the twos,” Clark said.
“The competition is definitely there for positions.”
Bullioh effectively stitched up Saturday’s win by kicking 8.2 to 0.0 in the opening quarter with Kieran Salome, Aaron Gordon, Simon Hillier and Martin Cummins dominating around the packs.
Clark was a constant threat in attack with five majors.
“It was a pretty good win,” Clark said.
“We came out well and sort of held it from there.
“We wanted to start well and put them under the pump.”
Cudgewa lifted its workrate after half-time with Kade Small, Adam Bloom and Jake Evans limiting the damage on the scoreboard.
Corryong defeated Border-Walwa by 32 points.
While the Demons always had the match under control, the home team refused to roll over with Max Houston, Benji Davidson, Tallis George and Tom McGibbony playing with plenty of spirit.
McGibbony played a lone hand in attack with five goals.
But Corryong’s class was always going to be the difference with Mitch Harris and Nathan Grimes kicking 11 goals between them and Tom Nicholas and Peter Jeffries in good form further afield.
Federal hammered Tumbarumba by 144 points at Corryong.
The Swans kicked 12.3 to 1.0 in the opening stanza with Steve Bradshaw starting the carnage at the centre bounces.
Daniel Hales and Dylan Haycraft were also prominent.
