With the great outdoors comes many interesting visitors and some of them which everyone should be aware of are reptiles.
At this years Border Caravan & Camping Expo popular reptile specialist Allan Burnett, and his team, will provide visitors with an interactive demonstration on awareness of reptiles in the bush. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with snakes and other reptiles as they educate you on snake awareness and bite prevention.
Allan Burnett has a leading edge in this field, knowing only too well the consequences of snake bite. Having served 20 years as an ambulance paramedic, his objective was then as it still is now - to save lives. Only now it is the lives of both humans and reptiles. On the premise that "prevention is better than cure", Allan believes education is the key to instilling this fact.
This year the expo will also have plenty of free rides to keep the kids entertained - and you can pick up a free colouring showbag at the gate.
There will be rides for the whole family, as well as a rest area located on the Bob-Pritchard Oval across all three days of the expo.
All this and more while you plan your next outdoor adventure – see all the latest model caravans, pop-tops, tents, camper trailers, motorhomes, campervans, 4x4 off road and then get ready to ‘Go Make Some Memories’.
