Kelly-Anne Walsh, 42, was arrested in Wodonga’s Church Street with stolen coins and a stolen driver’s licence in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
She had targeted a guide dog charity box at Greg’s Takeaway on High Street only hours earlier.
Walsh stuffed the box into her handbag and fled the scene.
Prior to that, she had taken about $10 from a chocolate fundraising money box from the Wodonga Dry Cleaners in Liverpool Lane after distracting a staff member.
She quickly went into the nearby laundromat and stole a tip jar containing about $50.
A person who parked their car in Lawrence Street was also targeted by Walsh, with his wallet stolen and his bank card used to buy items from a tobacconist.
Walsh targeted a tip jar containing about $50 at the Goods Shed on August 28, after distracting a staff member, and a pink pig donation box from the Blazing Stump containing about $400 on August 3.
The 42-year-old also stole a tip jar from Zambreros a day earlier.
Walsh has priors for stealing charity tins and is wanted for similar allegations in Albury.
Her latest offending netted her hundreds of dollars worth of coins and notes.
Magistrate Ian Watkins jailed the 42-year-old, who says she is of no fixed address, to one month in jail on Tuesday.
