It promises to be a fun night of trivia and fundraising for $20 a head, a light supper provided and all proceeds going to the hay runners.
In February this year, hay runner Brendan Farrell warned the organisation faced its own funding drought with only $46,000 in the kitty.
He said there would be no more hay runs until the bank balance was healthier and urged his fellow Aussies to join him in the fight to “keep the dream alive”.
Community groups and businesses have since rallied to support the hay runners’ cause with a raft of fundraising events to ensure the big rigs can roll out the hay help early in 2019.
