Water is being pumped into the pool following a five-month long project.
The pool appeared to be close to full on Friday afternoon.
Issues with the pool had meant re-tiling work needed to be undertaken.
More than 50,000 tiles had to be replaced after the problems was detected at the pool last year.
Once the pool has been filled, further work will still need to be undertaken, including chlorination and heating.
