Lowe will return from a knee reconstruction to lead the Lions on the ground while Parker has signed on in a non-playing capacity.
The 22-year-old Lowe coached Wahgunyah’s thirds this year and is looking forward to his first taste of senior football.

“Wahgunyah has a pretty good junior system in place at the minute and, after being part of that, I wanted to follow the pathway through to senior footy,” Lowe said.
“We have 16 or so kids coming up which is exciting.
“It's going to be a learning curve but I’m looking forward to working with Nathan who obviously has a lot of experience.”
Lowe came through Wahgunyah’s junior ranks before having four seasons with Ovens and Murray club Corowa-Rutherglen.
He has played 50 senior matches for the Lions, represented the Tallangatta and District league and is set to be free of knee problems for round one.
Parker, who retired at the end of 2017 after a strong career in the Murray league, is no stranger to Wahgunyah after spending 2014 at the club under Nic O’Bryan.
He played 215 matches for home club Mulwala, 70 with Shepparton United and 17 at Yarrawonga.
“We are in a bit of a rebuilding phase after losing some experienced players and the club was pretty keen for Kodee to do the job,” Parker said.
“They thought he might benefit from some guidance and I guess that’s where I stepped in.
“We have signed up a lot of our juniors so it’s clear which direction the club is taking.”
Lowe and Parker will take over from Sam Burdon who had one season at the helm.
Wahgunyah dropped to 11th on the ladder this season after posting four victories.
Football operations spokesman Brett Skinner said the Lions were thrilled with the appointments.
“We think Kodee and Nathan will work well together,” Skinner said.
“Kodee’s coached the thirds and having Nathan as support is going to be invaluable for our young side.”
