Luke Fraser from Wodonga-based business Solar Integrity this week won the Clean Energy Council award for projects under 30kW.
The solar and battery system helped experts understand how micro-grids can be used to overcome network constraints on solar systems, and also reduced some home owners’ electricity bills by about $2700 per year.
“I am so excited to be recognised by the Clean Energy Council and get this award,” Mr Fraser said.
“Our region is leading the country in innovative approaches to solar and this award further demonstrates the rest of the country is watching on to see what we are doing.”
