She had been released into her father’s care on Saturday so he could take her away to a treatment centre for her ice and heroin addictions.
He had travelled from Queensland down to Wodonga late last week to help her, with plans to drive her back north and put her on a plane to Darwin.
It was intended for her to undergo three months of treatment in Darwin.
But the 32-year-old was arrested only hours after being bailed.
She re-appeared in the Wodonga Magistrates Court this week and was refused bail.
Her partner of 16 years has continued to support Rickard despite her narrowly missing him in the vehicle, which led to charges of reckless conduct endangering serious injury.
The court heard the pair had a volatile relationship marred by drug use and intervention orders.
Rickard was denied bail and will return to the court on October 24.
